Hi Kostats,
But if you will retweet to often this will annoy your followers, IMHO. Therefore you can lose a part of them. In this case you shouldn’t be to obtrusive.

In my opininion the best way to get more followers and retweets is to retweet regularly tweets from other bloggers on your niche and follow those that retweet your tweets

Great pointers about Twitter.

Your point about not tweeting irrelevant links is very important. Whenever people use the Twitter search engine, having tweets that are well optimized for search queries is very important.

Funny thing. We all focus on SEO for Google, but nobody ever mentions SEO for twitter searches.

SEO is hands down “the most targeted” traffic you can get.

Therein lies the reason that you tweets have to be on topic and keyword and hash tag rich.

Great pointers Adriana! While I believe hashtags are great, including them within the topic or sentence is a major distraction for me. Instead adding them at the end, after the link is more appealing. It’s just how I feel and follow.

Thank you for the good tips. We have a few rules: never talk about what you ate. Always be positive and polite. Genuine compliments are powerful in getting followback and staring conversations. Humor is very important, somewhat rare on Twitter, so appreciated. Never forget to thank your ReTweeters and return the favor. Be relevant to your subject without being too narrow.

Its very easy for many people to overlook the effect of conversation – why not be it just Good Morning. I remember @kannanbala. He often greets with simple Good Morning/Evening and the conversation begins.

The best way to get twitter follower is to engage in Twitter and continue conversation. @mention and #tags works great to help you reach your target audience.

I’ve been using Twitter for a while now and it is important for me to follow those who have interesting things to say, because I like to read it I know that there are people who use twits generating machines and most of them send simply spam. So, I don’t follow all those who follow me, if this is the case how they treat Twitter.

That’s a great tip about hashtags. I’ll try it out!

Good post. A good free tool to use to gain put hash tags in your tweet is tweetchat. Tweetchat allows you to add automatic hashtags to your tweets while viewing viewing realtime tweets using the same hash tags. This will allow you to not only get exposure for your niche topic it will also allow you to find targeted people to reply to and follow. It’s a great free tool.
