How Famous Bloggers Sewed a new Dress using Thesis theme?

Thesis theme

After spending some time on tweaking Thesis Theme on our Famous Bloggers blog – do you see any changes?!  Tell us what you think about it. This is not the only news I am going to tell you today; I also decided to activate Famous Bloggers Discussion Forum. Now we can discuss about anything related to Making Money Online on our new forum and get more promotion for our blogs.

If you are wondering which Wordpress plugin we choose to create the forum section, read the rest of the post to know more about it, and why we are using it.

What is Simple:Press?

Simple:Press is a feature rich forum plug-in for WordPress. It fully integrates into your WP based site utilizing the same user records and database and displaying on a single WP page. It is fully customizable and comes with a number of skins and sets of icons to get you started. Current users have shown it to be fully scaleable whether your site membership numbers the tens or the thousands.

Why Simple:Press?

Simple:Press  actually has a good integration in the look and feel with our Thesis Theme, and I don’t think that I will have to remove the sidebar from Famous Bloggers blog – at least not for now, rather than managing everything from one control panel –inside Wordpress admin area- we will not have to do more work and spend lots of time to view advertisements inside the forum posts, but I will keep the main advertising like shown now on the top and the sidebar of the blog.

Can anyone create a forum like this one?

Definitely the answer is YES! It’s very simple and in no time you will have a Wordpress integrated discussion forum on your blog. But be aware.. The main problem with forums is you will need to spend time on moderating discussions and cleaning the forum posts from the miss of spammers which will be our main goal.

What now?

Go ahead and register to our Making Money Discussion forum and let’s start to learn from each other and promote our blogs together!

It looks like the compelling trend is to create a forum section for ones blog. How does this differ from -a blog? I’m not sure what the need is for both. Please pardon my ignorance.

This Simple Press forum plugin produces a forum that certainly integrates well with the site. It’s impressive in an understated way. Best wishes with the forum and all else you do.

It rocks, Hesham! Love the tweak, especially the top header part :D

The forum layout got cut-off a little bit on the right side (not wide enough) though

Thanks a lot for the feedback, the header part actually is a mix of 3 different backgrounds all on top of each other with little transparency play!

And yeah you are right about the width! maybe next week end I will do some work in here :)

Wow. did not now that it is so simple to integrate a forum. Can I do this on P50 as well. Is this some sort of plugin and is it free? Anyway, I’ll register on the forum and see how it goes. Hopefully you won’t get spammed as forums are sometimes considered as link farms. Way to go, another form of interacting with everyone. That’s cool

Yes you can, simple install the plugin and activate it, and then in the sidebar of it’s options you can run it to create tables automatically! and yes it’s free! and you are registered already, all our team is registered!! just login using your author account!

I will do my best or then I will have to be a farmer again :) maybe you don’t know this about me but I was working as a forum editor and moderator for 3 years during my life! (I hope this will help on our forum!)
