I would feel nostalgic if I was selling a 12 years old domain, cause it would be like part of me
Anyways I have recently played around with google adword keyword tool and bough a domain on a major keyword with close to 20 million searches per month worldwide.
Btw that websiteoutlook evaluation isn’t really real. I’ve seen site being evaluated at around 4k$ – 5k$ when they make money off affiliates and get around 1k$ per month.
That site only accounts the pageviews and ur probable income from putting ads.

Oh…Sad to hear that. I was looking when will Doug come back to his regular blogging after when he went for a blogging break(he made a post about it)..I was going to talk with him on Gtalk but he always used to have a busy status so I didn’t thought of disturbing him..
But I think Doug should keep that blog or at least let their blog readers know about his other projects or where we can find him…
And hey, I think you should list it on flippa..

I had a look at the site and did a valuation from at website called http://www.websiteoutlook.com/ and makingmoneyonline.com was valued at abot $9000 us dollars not at bad price but not interesting to buy that site seems pretty good but doesn’t give any details aon its readership

I heard that buying an old and with high PR is great to start your blogging. But I can’t buy the domain, I think you should that domain Hesham, lol!

I wouldn’t recommend buying it just because it has a lot of subscribers and having a domain with keywords “making money online”. The site is poorly optimized for being 10 years old. Also, the site is only PR 2, which you can easily get with little effort.

Hey Kai, I think it depends on the way you look at it, and how you would like to work for you!
The thing is this blog has a good reputation in our community because the content it has and the people who is taking care of it!
The PR is something you can earn it with this blog in a few months, and don’t forget it’s a 12 years old domain which consider a major factor in pricing! anyways.. let’s see how thing will work!
