Google plus network’s main goal is to actually connect people together and help them build and manage relationships together. Today, Google is rolling out Google+ Pages worldwide, from local businesses to global brands.
This exciting news was shared on Google’s official blog today:
For businesses and brands, Google+ pages help you connect with the customers and fans who love you. Not only can they recommend you with a +1, or add you to a circle to listen long-term. They can actually spend time with your team, face-to-face-to-face. All you need to do is start sharing, and you’ll soon find the super fans and loyal customers that want to say hello.

Add Branded Pages to your Circles
Imagine you can hang out with any of your favorite brands or shops live and connect with them. You can even find it straight from the search result using the new Direct Connect from Google search!
This simply can be done by adding a “+” before the bran name!
Note that Direct Connect works for a limited number of pages today (like +Google, +Pepsi, and +Toyota), but many more are coming.

I didn’t find much differences between Profile and Pages in Google+.. And I have more many more followers then I have in my pages and actually I have only couple of people who is following me in my page..

is it like facebook pages…does it has provisions like facebook pages ..creating page can be efficient fad I think it will impact search result as google search engine is widely used

Google+ Pages for Business have been released, but only to highly disappoint people’s expectations!
The have brought little to no improvement based on their rival, Facebook pages. The only innovation they brought is the Google+ Direct Connect.

I finally decided to create a Page for Evolutionary Designs. But to be honest, I am really not sure if I will use it. Everything is setup through my personal profile and I really do not want to double post and cross post everything. Plus I think its kinda spammy to share the same stuff on my personal account then share it on the Google+ Page for the website. There’s a good chance that a lot of people will be following both accounts…
But I do look forward to what feature Google will be adding.

Not much going on there, but I like the ease of creating one. Much easier than FB

This will be great for Businesses anyway, but in a way I think it’s very similar to Facebook pages. And Facebook definitely has the advantage over Google plus at the moment, so I think it could be a while before it catches on

Yes.. It’s similar to Facebook pages, but I think the direct connect is a huge addition as it will allow connecting directly with brands from Google search , this is something that Facebook doesn’t have!
