The weired thing is that GoDaddy followed me on Twitter last week, and I found that they are more active that what my post shows! I have no idea how hey did that! maybe they are protecting their tweets or something, I don’t know!

Hesham, interesting post. I agree with you. Actually, I’ve been noticing many companies doing it wrong too. The thing they’re missing is: It’s not just about the account name. It’s about responding to people. Having a Twitter account with slow and bad customer support is like having a phone that redirects everyone to voice mail and now one calls back!

Not to sound like an advertisement, but I think MediaTemple’s support, responsiveness and servers are one of best out there. I’m happy hosting Thoughtpick and Tweepi over there

That is why I like NameCheap.com – They use social media, especially Twitter very well. If you aren’t following NameCheap on Twitter, your missing out big. I have received 10 free domain names from NameCheap through the use of Twitter.

And NameCheap, if you are reading this, you have made a good decision, otherwise I will not be posting this.

Let’s say you are so lucky to meet the right guys on the right time when support needed, and also hosted your blog on one of their good servers

Probably most the problems will not happen with a dedicated server.

I am might get flamed here for coming to the defense of Godaddy, so first let me say, I Am Not Working For Them lol.

I have been using them for about 4 years now, I have my blogs hosted with them, plus I have a dedicated server that I use for running all my other websites, and I must say that I have never had any kind of problems with them yet.

Whenever I have had a problem with something, I give them a call, and I get the problem solved fast.

I don’t know, maybe I am one of the lucky few that has nothing but good things to say about them.
