40 Plus Reasons Why I Agree with ElegantThemes Increasing it’s Price

ElegantThemes Membership

I just notice that Nick Roach of the most affordable theme membership site ElegantThemes increased the price of it’s yearly paid membership to $39 regarding to the world economic crises, just kidding ;)

I wanted to give you more than 40 reason why I agree on doubling ElegentThemes’s price which is -in my opinion- still affordable, makes a lot of sense and just fine!

I have used ElegantThemes on 3 of my blogs for almost one year now, (Oh! My God, I have to renew my membership) well, why I have to worry about that? the Price will only affect new members, this means all current members will renew with the old price! and actually there is no problem because I simply still can earn from ElegantThemes membership with out killing myself on marketing it, in my opinion, ElegantThemes has created it’s own marketing strategy that works without having to suffer! It simply works a lone! And I recommend to everyone to Join it’s affiliate, and I will tell you why latter!

So, let me show you one of my blogs that has one of ElegantThemes. We are planning to make more interviews to be published on it in the near future, it was built to be a place to interview bloggers who make money online and share their success stories in a simple way that make it easy for everyone to learn form! I call it the New Media Bloggers.

new media bloggers

Here is my 44 reason and still counting

Look at these fine, clean and elegant Wordpress theme designs for WordPress blogs, it can fit perfectly for several blogging niches, and if you are not convinced then you must check out there elegant themes, I am showing you here 44 themes that already delivered by ElegantThemes, you can get them all for only $30 plus those new themes that Nick will be delivering in the whole coming year, and by the way, you will be surprised of his support!!

Check out this amazing WordPress theme that you will get for only $39

What about the affiliate program?!

This is a another reason to love Elegantthemes, it pays out  a very nice affiliate commission. ElegantThemes became a big name in the Wordpress themes world, and it has a good reputation, great support and tons of themes that you can recommend to your clients with confident, so… basically you it will pay off it’s own price in no time.

The price change didn’t affect affiliate commission percentage of ElegantThemes, it’s still 50% of the total membership price, which is great deal, it’s even better for both sides, now it worth more to market ElegantThemes than ever.

What’s your opinion?

I would love to hear what you think about ElegantTheme, the new price, and if you are welling to renew your membership after the price change or not!

This is a good idea, however, have you thought about the fact that you can make money by having an elegant theme on your blog and the affiliate link in the footer? Or are you not getting enough traffic right now?

We can’t deny that elegant themes are very known now for their web designs. I my self admire their works. That’s why I also agree why they increase their prices.

I have a service where I can order a wordpres setup and select a theme from them. Then I don’t have to pay for the yearly fee and I will get good looking themes. And I outsource wordpres setup cause it’s faster to build new blogs this way

There’s been some related discussions and comments that have been posted on Nick’s blog directly But unfortunately, very little response from Nick! It would great if he would take just a few moments to offer some of his thoughts.

Absolutely no problem on the price increase but rather, it’s the Sudden price increase that should discussed and commented on in more detail…

I’m including my comments (below) from the thread to offer a full understanding on my opinion regarding the Elegant Themes membership price increase…
http://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/theme-additions/dailynotes-now-on-tumblr#comments

Please feel free, everybody to comment further on the Sudden price increase, Not the price increase… :)
As a future customer and someone who has been following all of Nicks online posts, including affiliate reviews and numerous $19. advertising campaigns, I have to agree regarding all the comments on the sudden price increase…

The Value that Nick offers throughout his Elegant Themes membership is definitely more than worth the new price but the sudden increase in my opinion needed more planning and consideration for all current and future customers.

No doubt, Nicks work is totally “Awesome” but I truly hope that he considers a price adjustment or special offer in this particular situation. I know many future members, including myself that are interested in signing up possibly with multiple memberships for clients due to the licensing agreement. Also as affiliates…

I look forward to Nick’s comments regarding my comments and definitely look forward to becoming a Elegant Themes member in the very near future… :)

Much appreciated!
Dave

I agree with you that the sudden increase is not the best way to do this! but the thing is the new price affect only the new subscribers then it doesn’t really matter , it would matter more for those who are affiliating ElegantThemes as it could grow their sales or bring it down for some time!

Actually Nick could make more sales if he pronounce that price will increase “soon” ;)

I just want to say something Dave, if you like something.. just buy it!

Prices change everyday!

I actually signed up a couple days before the price increase and just noticed today that its now $39 a year. Thinking back I probably wouldn’t have joined if it wasnt $19. They are good themes, but not very many of them a practical for any real site use. They are more portfolio/style pieces showing off the designers work, not much thought goes into functionality. IMHO

That’s cool, you must be lucky then :) you will not have to pay extra when you renew, you will just renew with same price!

What else you need more than what the E-Panel gives you?

I love Elegant Themes. This was the first theme membership I have bought and it has been absolutely worth it. They have new themes every month or so at least. They have incredible tech support. And the themes are really awesome. They will help you in your efforts to customize your Wordpress site and are very efficient.

I agree with the price increase because you get so much! Definitely check out Elegant Themes.

Well I’ve been suggesting Nick to increase his price since late last year.. I mean i have a lot of web properties running under Elegant Themes and I always feel that $19/year is just too cheap and with the fact that he releases a theme almost every month is just ridiculous.

In terms of customizing it, I believe its completely customizable. It may not be a framework like Thesis, but its totally modifiable.

And .. yes .. it’s not a framework, but any theme in this world can be customized if we know how to do it!

Those themes are pretty awesome! And that’s really a fairly reasonable sign up price, especially if you join the affiliate program.

Just a quick suggestion, Hesham. You might want to get someone to proofread your posts before you put them up.

Agreed. ElegantThemes is a very nice alternative to any other WP themes out there specially if you are not the savvy coder, like me :) . I have some blogs running on it and it is so easy to use that I always wondered how nick can “afford” having all those themes, plus support, plus affiliate cost and only charge $19.. The price increase is more than warranted and reasonable considering what you get. Also, I think that this relays a message about Nick being committed to his work and that ElegantThemes is not going anywhere.

$39 is worth the price. I used to visit ElegantThemes quite a lot when I was looking for my very first theme for wordpress. All their themes are very much eye candy, but I settled on using a Thematic child theme instead I can design myself so it is more personal.

Hesham, this is such good timing. I’m using a free Magazine Basic theme on my new blog now and I was thinking of upgrading to the Premium version. Now, I need to take a step back and compare Elegant themes with Magazine. So far I am liking the idea of the epanel. I’m certainly not going with Thesis, especially after hearing that horrible interview with the owner versus the “good guy” our friend Matt from Wordpress. Besides the more help I can get with CSS the better. So I’m going to take a good, hard look at Elegant Themes this weekend. Thanks!

Absolutely no problem. I subscribed to Elegant themes for just $19/year in the last 2 years and this is the first time they increase the price of this collection. This year they’ve added some new themes to this collection and the number of premium themes is now 44. It means that you pay less than $1 for a theme, it is still too cheap.

Oh I am just now coming to know that Elegant themes are changing their pricing we at 39$ they are still cheap looking into the number of quality themes they have. I also have an elegant themes subscription and am planning to use it in some new blogs that I may come up with. It was really a steal when it was cheap, all the functions, awesome design and the epanel. $39 is also not bad either

I think if ElegantThemes put a price of $70 or even $100 will still worth it!

Oh! I remember now that I am using ElegantThemes on another blog of mine, this makes them 4 blogs! I have no idea how I forgot that one! maybe I need a memory fix ;)

On all blogs you own! it’s actually a great deal! and you will be extremely happy with Elegantthemes!

I have both Thesis Themes & ElegantThemes, both are awesome, they are different.. ElegantThemes is less coding (almost no coding), Thesis is a framework that need some work :)

I recommend both, so I don’t know what to say, but I must say that every blogger has to own a membership with ElegantThemes no matter what!

Those look like some really good themes. How customizable are they? I was thinking of getting Thesis and going nuts with that, but this option is cheaper. I don’t want to have a site that looks like someone else’s though, you know someone using the same theme as me. I like that aspect about Thesis, you can customize it so much and having it look like someone else’s probably would be hard.

ElegantThemes are fully customizable from inside WordPress dashboard, it has a great panel that allow SEO, display advertising, control navigation, sliders… and much more!

You can get a unique design of any blog if you have some coding knowledge, at least CSS styling!

Thesis is a framework more than a blog theme! so it’s completely different thing and need more work to get it up with a unique look!

If you are not into coding then I suggest you go for ElegantThemes! otherwise Thesis is the best choice! (just my personal opinion)
