5 Powerful Ways to Write Dynamic Content

dynamic_content

So you’ve got a Twitter account and you tweet. You’ve joined Stumbleupon and you stumble. And you’ve built a Facebook profile and you share. But you can’t seem to get the amount of traffic you want. The problem may not be your marketing methods but your content.

Quality content is what really drives a blog to success. It is that quality that turns visitors into readers, readers into subscribers, and subscribers into customers. Even though there are many different ways to promote your blog, content is still king.

Since content is still so important to the success of any blog, its important that you have the most dynamic content possible for your niche. In this article I will show you 5 ways that you can turn your content from good to great!

Be Unique

With so many blogs online today, you need to find a way to stand out. One way to make your content truly unique is to personalize your blog. When you write a post, don’t just share common information that your visitors can find anywhere. Instead, share some information about yourself and your experiences.

Readers are interested in the person who is writing the post and not just the content itself. Your personality is what will make your blog truly unique. You have an interesting story that the world is waiting to hear. Share that insight!

Write For Humans

We all know that keywords are important. But filling your posts with keywords just so that you can get Google’s attention is a mistake. Your visitors came to your blog for valuable information and they will quickly click the “back” button on their browser if they do not find the information that they are looking for.

For example, if you have a post on the best way to cook salmon and you put the word “salmon” 20 times in the first few paragraphs, it gets a little annoying. Instead, for your reader’s sake, it’s better to use a variety of words. You could use words like Pacific salmon, fish, or seafood. Google may be interested in how many times the keywords appear in your post but your visitors aren’t.

Be Interesting

Nobody likes to read a boring blog. Good blogging is similar to any type of good writing. Using captivating and exciting descriptive language will help your readers stay interested in your writing.
There are a number of ways to add some color into your posts. You can use stories, examples or even humor as a way to keep readers engaged. Interesting content helps you capture readers and is what will keep them coming back.

Commit to Quality

One of the things that I try to do with my blog is to offer quality as well as unique content. Quality content is a rarity with many blogs. Readers will be able to tell if the post that you have written was well researched and organized. Throwing together a collection of random thoughts and ideas is easily forgettable.

Of course, if you are doing your own proofreading, grammar and spelling mistakes may happen. But overall, if you post quality content regularly, your readers will appreciate. You will also begin to develop a reputation as someone who can be counted on for delivering superior articles.

We all know that every post is not going to be a winner. There have been times when I’ve looked back at some of my first posts and thought, “What was I thinking?” The key is to be consistent in delivering valuable content.

Have a Call to Action

What do you want your visitors to do once they have read your post? Do you want them to leave a comment? Maybe you want them to subscribe to your feed? Giving good information is useful, but if you do not strike an emotion that causes an action, your readers will forget about you very quickly.

Your call to action may be something that helps the reader change a habit or it can encourage them to buy a product. In the case of my blog, I seek several different results from my articles. I not only want them to click ads and purchase products, I also want what I’ve written to affect their lives in a positive way. I love getting emails from readers saying that something I’ve written has inspired them in some way.

Whatever the desired action is, be sure to emphasize it somewhere in the beginning, middle, and conclusion of your post.

How do you go about writing dynamic content? Let us know in the comment section.

It is fairly easy to get visitors in comparison to making them stay on your blog. It always shows when you have written a post of something you love and are passionate about. When one writes automated blogs or blogs just for SEO purpose the result is far less than when a person writes with some passion. So I would always go for quality becz quality always scores over quantity in my mind.

HAH…I see what you did there. Asking a question. Sly. Uhm, I think quality content occurs strictly by focusing on writing about the things you care about. I said, “I’d like to write a blog. Well what do I feel strongly about?” Answer was…a lot of things. So I started a website reviewing pretty much everything I could think of (www.stuffyoureview.com).

At some point I wanted to do more personal writing and started the blog in my signature and that has been the most rewarding. Focusing on the things that matter to you rather than simply what’s going to win content will shine through in your writing.

Now if only I was a better designer.

I am an elementary school librarian and your call for dynamic writing struck a cord. This is what I want from my students. So, I borrowed your 5 things and turned it around for teachers, linking back to you the entire time of course! What you have done with this post transcends the blogosphere.

Absolutely. That’s why it is important to be consistent. In order to stand out there has to be something memorable and unique. If not, the reader will find something unique on another site or blog. Thanks for your comment :)

Nice point, It is easy to write article but it is not so easy to write quality article, while it come to talk about SEO for blog or SEO for website then content come first, without quality content just can not achieve search rank.

Very true. There are soooo many blogs out there that the only way to really stick out is to provide something to the reader that they cannot get anywhere else. And you’re right, search rank does come when the content is superior.

Great post. You’re right. You look back at what you wrote when you first started your blog and think, “this kind of sux.” I can tell a difference in my posts after I made a conscious decision to focus on the quality of my writing and editing. I was in such a hurry before to hit publish. Still have room for improvement which is what I like about blogging I guess.

Yeah, I think we all go through that. I’ve even had some emails that say “Hey I love your work! The new stuff because the old stuff was so-so.” I chalk that up to not thinking clearly and not really defining my voice and writing style. Thanks for the comment :)

Great post. I agree with you. Content is still king. I found that commenting, using twitter, stumble and digg work great but if I do not write daily or at least every other day my traffic and comments on my posts start to fall.

For me I try and comment daily at least 5 or 6 a day Generally what I can do in 30 mins 2 or 3 times a day, even on my days off from blogging and write new content 5 to 6 times a week Sometimes more.

I have found that a total bizarre beginning to your article hooks people into reading the whole thing.
I remember when I first began 3 years ago. I had this idea on fad diets. I would basically slam every fad diets on the market. I really didn’t know what I was doing but people started to follow me. However, I did get listed on Google as number one. But, the keyword got 13 hits a day in the number one spot. So I guess you can learn from my mistake and make sure people are actually looking for you keywords. I soon realised that I hated righting about weight loss and that niche is already over-saturated, as it is.

Great post.. you covered all 5 bases. I agree 100% about content!! I don’t even think too much about keywords. Maybe that is why I don’t get tons of traffic…. Hmmm… I try to have a voice (interesting and unique) to get readers. Traffic is nice, readers and subscribers are better! :) Sense of humor I throw in occasionally too.

“Traffic is nice, readers and subscribers are better”
That is a great attitude! It really should be about delivering valuable content to the readers and not just trying to get Google to like you. I found that when your readers like one of my post, they tend to spread it around Facebook and social bookmarking sites. Then, after awhile, I find that I start getting Google traffic to that post! I’ve got to check out your blog. I bet its awesome!

Thats good that you recognize it before you post. When I first started blogging I read that you should post as often as you can and that will bring traffic. I tried that but I was not satisfied with the quality. When I found a good balance and posting schedule, I consistently started posting quality posts again. I went back and removed some of the post that I thought weren’t my best work. Thanks for your comment :)

I think, I started out blogging, writing random stuff, got stuck in the wrong niche and then again made a mistake. You can many mistakes, the most important aspect of it is the learning. So mistakes should be a learning lessons rather than hindrance in your progress.

About the content. It should cater to both the immediate reader and also the search engines so that you get traffic from both sides
