Man, when I first started my blog, I absolutely had no idea what I was doing. Collaborating with other bloggers though, was the best decision I ever made. Trying to do it all through SEO just isn’t going to cut it these days.

A great article and I would say the hardest point to achieve is to find someone that you can team up with. You want to make sure they can consistently pull their own weight because you don’t want to be doing most of the work while they get dragged along.

If you can find the right partner, then there is nowhere to go but up

Some great advice, important thing is to keep going and just see where everything goes. I need to network a bit more, but I find that writing for the website should come first and then I have no time to do the ‘other stuff’. Luckily I have planned ahead this week and written two weeks worth of posts, so each evening I can now network

Interesting about this collaboration. I think its great when two or more blogger with the same niche create a collaboration but they have their own unique interest. That will make the blog special and big in the short time.
As you said, its hard to build a collaboration like that but worth to try bro. Anyone want to collaborate with me?

I haven’t been around in the blogosphere for a long time, i started just under a month ago with http://www.wannabemillionaire.com. Nevertheless, I believe that blogging in its current state, starts to get outdated. Social networking is the next big thing, even Google is trying to get into social networking. They are attempting to do so for one big reason .. money.

Collaborating, and then in particular: giving our ‘fans’ the opportunity to build their social network around their favorite blog, with a facebook kind of interface or something similar, in which they can connect to other blogs and share content and what not … Check out http://buddypress.org/ .. i am not affiliated with it but you can grasp the idea what I am trying to explain. I would like to discover the possibilities of collaborating blogs.

So true. (except Twitter is 140 characters) I would love to group together with like bloggers and help everyone out… but that’s my problem. I can’t find anyone who blogs about the topics I do. In my niche it seems like they just want to sell, not blog. I’m still looking for my network. Someday…
