by on May 18, 2010 · 43 comments

Today is again Tuesday which means that we are going to do our weekly round up again. All the articles that are included here were submitted to MMO social network.

So if you want to have your article mentioned here then be sure to register at MMO. After you have registered you can then start to add articles to the social bookmark site.

Our topic today is primarily link building but I have also added some articles about web traffic.

It is Now Easier to submit to MMO

First of all, I would like to highlight David’s post about how it is now easier to submit to MMO. He has created the Bookmarketer which now features MMO-Social-Bookmark in it. The Bookmarketer is basically a free set-it-and-forget-it traffic generator power tool for your website. Be sure to check out his article “Four unique social bookmarking gems” to know how it’s easier to submit to MMO now, and try The Bookmarketer tool then tell us what you think of it.

It’s a Manual Tool! Check it out

Here is What I Have Found For You Today on MMO Social Network

Link Building Stories

Since we covered link building today I would like to ask you an important question. Do you think it’s wrong to use article or directory submission software? How do you have to use them to make link building most effective?

Thanks for the comment. Yeah I do agree on that one with you. I usually like submitting things manually better because you have more control. But at the moment I am trying to build a huge amount of backlinks and it takes so much works that I am considering getting some software to help me with the task.

Thanks Dev. Well I also like manual submissions more because you have more control over what you are actually submitting. But if you have to spend so much time on submitting articles and other things then it’s a real pain.

I think fully automated bookmarking software is a bad move for a multitude of reasons. Other then that though, they are fine if used manually correctly.

Exactly Dennis, and the Bookmarketer tool is actually a manual tool, I started to use it and it makes things easy because you put your hands on all bookmarking sites needed in one page!

Dennis Edell from Direct Sales Marketing May 21, 2010 at 5:41 pm

I’ll check it out Hesham, once I start using other sites beyond just Twitter. ;)

I don’t think that automated software is bad to use if you use it correctly. I mean of course there are people who use that kind of software to spam other people.

But again if used correctly they can save you tons amount of work. Once you’ve built a mini site from scratch you will know what I am talking about ;) Link building is the worst part.

Thanks so much for this roundup. The focus (seo and link building) are really of interest to me. On auto submission software, I’ve never used any. I’ve heard so many bad things about these software that I’ve settled to use manual submissions. However, consideration that the work load continues to increase by the day I may be taking a look at it!

Yeah I agree. I don’t think the software is bad, you just have to use it the right way. And yes it takes a lot of time to submit each article by itself or to manually submit your site to directories.

Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the comment!

chandan from work at home blog May 20, 2010 at 3:20 am

I always stay away from using tool for any submission. Because now a days google is going so smart that google can easily track our activities, I always recommend that do your work genuine you get good results, google looks like a human, so if human like your work then google also like your work.

Yeah you have to figure out the best way to use MMO yourself. I don’t even have Adsense on my blog because it doesn’t really earn you anything, well it does work well if you are in the right niche.

Thanks for the comment!

Yeah I agree. I have been blogging now for over a year and a half and haven’t made that much money (maybe around $100).

That’s why I am trying out mini sites to generate money because I think they have a lot more potential.

Nice roundup. Will check them all out. As for auto directory submission software, I do not think it is wrong to use it, then again, I doubt it’s effectiveness.

I am actually thinking about using that kin of software. I mean it seems nice to automate all of your submissions on the other hand if you submit too many articles to too many directories then Google will not like it.

Thanks man.

I never used Auto Article or Directory Submission software. I do not know if it is right or wrong but I haven’t felt like using it.

Just to correct some issues, the Bookmarketer is not an automated tool, it’s a manual tool, but it makes the submitting process much more easy by having social bookmarking site in one place, give it a try and you will get the idea!

Julius Kuhn-Regnier May 19, 2010 at 1:13 am

I agree, I haven’t used it either but I am planning on doing so. I think there is a free article and directory submission tool available which is supposed to be quite good. I have just downloaded it and will check it out.

I automate the process of finding sites that are worth getting a link from but I always manually submit my site to places so I can make sure things are done without error.
